Today's picture was submitted by Mike S. from Stone Mountain, Georgia. The picture shows two GI's with a dog during World War II. The man on the right was Mike's dad, and the man on the left, his uncle. Both men were serving in the Pacific during the war, and both ended up being on Hawaii at the same time, without knowing the other was there. They ran into each other walking down the street.
