Capturing Stormy Skies
While others will go off and seek shelter, this is a time for you to show that power and beauty that only Mother Nature can provide and these are some of the best landscape images one can imagine.
Off in the distance, you can hear the gentle rumbling of thunder. The winds start to pick up and you feel something big is approaching. You turn around and see the sky getting darker and darker. Your adrenalin starts to pump and the time is fast approaching to create some magical landscapes with light, texture and color.
It's one of my most favorite subjects and here during the summer in Florida, it really doesn't get any better then this. I put together some simple yet powerful tips on how to capture the natural beauty of these stormy skies so the next time mother nature is ready to put on a show, you are ready to capture it.
